Secondary Research
To support my primary research, I explored a range of existing secondary sources, including online articles, academic explanations, and videos relevant to my topic. Secondary research allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of current trends, expert opinions, and previously collected data that I could compare with my own findings. Below are two of the key sources I analysed.

This article examines how user habits and digital engagement have evolved over the past year. It highlights the growing trend of daily online activity, the rise of mobile-first usage, and increasing expectations for accessibility and user experience.
What I Learned
Users today expect fast, simple, and visually appealing digital tools.
Daily usage of digital platforms is increasing, especially among younger audiences.
People prefer platforms that offer personalisation and easy navigation.
These findings helped me understand why many participants in my questionnaire reported regular use of digital products and emphasised ease of use in their responses.

Source 2: Educational Video – User Experience and Motivation

This video explains the psychology behind user engagement and satisfaction. It also explores how clarity, layout, and user-friendly design shape people’s willingness to return to an app, website, or service.
What I Learned
Users stay engaged when a product is easy to understand from the start.
Clear layout and good design significantly increase satisfaction.
Users appreciate features that help them accomplish tasks quickly and with minimal effort.
This aligns closely with comments from my primary research, where participants highlighted the importance of features, simplicity, and smooth functionality.

What I Hope to Achieve From These Findings
From analysing these secondary sources, I hope to:
Strengthen my understanding of how users behave and what they value most.
Improve my interpretation of the primary research by comparing real user responses with expert insights.
Apply the findings to inform decisions or recommendations related to my project, especially around usability and user expectations.
Design or evaluate solutions that are more accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with real user needs.
By combining both primary and secondary research, I can produce a more accurate, informed and meaningful analysis that supports the aims of my project.
